LittleBigPlanet Quick Review

If you haven’t been hiding under a rock for the past week, you no doubt know by now that Sony next huge game, LittleBigPlanet has been delayed. We have however been lucky to get our hands on a review copy of the game. After watching various trailers over the net and listening to all the hype you would have high hopes for this title. Those who were lucky to experience the beta already have a taste for whats to come. Those who haven’t experienced LittleBigPlanet for themselves however are in for a nice treat.

The key to LittleBigPlanet is its simplicity. Who would have imagined that a side scrolling game could gain so much interest in todays hardcore gaming market. This game is for everyone, from young to old, male to female and casual gamers to hardcore gamers. Media Molecule have managed to create a title which caters to people in different ways. Those looking for simple fun can instantly play the campaign mode. Those looking for something more can create their very own levels using what seems like a simple editor which is in fact quite powerful.

Team work plays a large role in Little Big Planet and up to four players can play either online or offline. Apart from working together, each player is also competing against the other to gain the most bubbles. LBP can be completed in about 6 hours however the game encourages you to revisit level to explore the levels. Once you do finish, the online component is huge with user created content.

The issues I found with the game was mainly with the controls. Because the game is physics based, the controls can become counter intuitive. Another problem I had was that only 3 lives are given for each level and once your sack character loses all, then you must restart the level from scratch.

Having said all this, there some problems here and there, but know this - LittleBigPlanet absolutely delivers.

Once we paid, our account was instantly activated and we were able to log in immediately. The PSPblender interface provides access to download the latest movies, games and music for your PSP. The site makes it incredibly easy to get started with guides and walkthrough and essentially this makes downloading from PSPblender quick and easy. From this point in, PSP Blender does exactly what it advertises to do. In addition they provide emaulators to launch your favorite Nintendo, Sega etc games straight from your PSP which we love.

Downloading each game, movie or music from PSP Blender varies and depends on the file size as you’d expect. However download speeds are fast and installing the games or watching movies on the PSP is simple. What is essentially really great about PSPblender.com is that they offer and 8 week money back guarantee which means that you have nothing to lose giving it a go. Final Word

PSP Blender delivers and does exactly what it claims to do. By using the program and website you will have instant access to the latest games, music and movies available on the PSP. The company behind PSPblender offer a full refund with 8 weeks of purchase if unhappy. However we were more than happy with our purchase and feel that for $37. PSP Blender is a great deal.
